Chousun Korean BBQ is a pretty popular dining place in Vancouver, so naturally I had to give it a try. So how did this Korean BBQ place fair up to my taste buds?
Food: 3.5/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Service 3.5/5
We ordered BBQ Combo C between two people and this is what it looks like. To be honest it was a lot of food but it was a little on the pricey side. If you’re looking for a place to eat and fill up I would not recommend this restaurant. However if you and your friends are going out for a good time, I say this place is pretty good.
My least favorite thing about this restaurant was the one hour wait time. We went on a Friday night and got to the restaurant at about 7pm, but we didn’t get seated until 8pm. I suggest to go early or even later on the weekends because this place is open till 11:30pm. There is a small parking lot in the front but it seemed to be shared among the other stores there, but you can find street parking on the smaller streets!
I enjoyed the several smaller side platters and we even got an add on of the corn cheese. The waiters were pretty attentive and we managed to change the grill plate about three times without much trouble or waiting.
I would come back here again, but maybe in a larger group (4 at most). The layout of the restaurant, in my opinion, is best for 4 people or 8 people. They have two person tables off to the side of the restaurant, which is where we sat. At the very end you stand up and pay as you exit.
