In the entirety of my makeup “collection”, lip products is where I have the most of. I posted this on my Instagram a while ago asking “who wants to see my lipstick collection?” and there were a lot of positive responses to do a haul. So without any further introduction, here is my lipstick collection. Warning, this might be a long blog post.

In summary, I tend to gravitate towards red, pink and some neutral shades. I feel like this shade range has done really well for me ranging from goes with all my outfits to I really want something to pop/ stand out today.

A. Givenchy – Rouge Stiletto
B. MAC – D for Danger
C. Bobbi Brown – Crushed Plum
D. Estée Lauder – Fig
E. Milk – C.R.E.A.M
F. Shiseido – Shimmering Rouge
G. Estée Lauder – Pink Parfait
H. Unknown ( I found it in Japan and I cant read Japanese)

Here is a mini review of what I think of each product. I’ll mostly be talking about how they feel and what I like/dislike about it. Finally, I’ll end it with a personal rating of how I’ve liked it over the years

A. Givenchy – Rouge Stiletto

Rouge Stiletto is from the Le Rouge Mat collection by Givenchy. This is one of my most vivid red colours in the collection and it has this creamy texture I really like when I wear it. Although I do love a good red, this one doesn’t make my “I could wear this every day” look book. A lot goes a long way, and I often find my self dabbing into this one and trying to use it as a stain rather than a lipstick.
Final Rating: B

B. MAC – D for Danger

Another matte lipstick finish to the collection. This shade has a dark and rich purple/plum tone to it and definitely lives up to the name. I surprisingly find myself grabbing this one a lot and throwing it into my bag as a grab and go (more so in the winter than the summer). This one has a drying feel to it and not as easy to apply as I would like.
Final Rating: B

C. Bobbi Brown – Crushed Plum

Continuing on with this matte lipstick train is Crushed Plum by Bobbi Brown. I don’t like this lipstick that much. It’s has the same purple/plum tones as my D for Danger by MAC, but darker (one swipe comparison below). This one used to be my grab and go lipstick colour until I found the D for Danger shade. In terms of application, both go on fine but I think the Crushed Plum gives you more pigmentation. I do find the Crushed Plum to be a little more drying as well.
Final Rating: B-

D. Estée Lauder – Fig

This ones goes on my lips like a beauty. Its not glossy, but it just feels like a really smooth application. I think the colour looks a little mature on me, but I do really like the shiny finish it gives off. It also smells amazing, it has a little sweet perfume fragrance to it.
Final Rating: A

E. Milk – C.R.E.A.M

This lipstick is as nude as it gets. The shade is my exact lip colour and it looks like I’m barely wearing any lipstick on. It has just the right amount of pink pigment. It feels as good as the name. I do feel like I have to swipe it on a few times before I feel everything is covered, so if your looking for a one swipe, one coverage lipstick I don’t suggest this one.
Final Rating: B

F. Shiseido – Shimmering Rouge

This lipstick definitely has some shine to it for sure, but not too shiny. I love its glossy application in the classic lipstick tube rather than actually being a gloss. On the lips it has this almost sugary feel to it. I use this a lot in the summer and it is definitely one of my grab and go’s.
Final Rating: A-

G. Estée Lauder – Pink Parfait

Diving into another shiny lipstick here. This one makes me feel like Barbie (but an asian version of her). Its really easy to put on, but I don’t use this as much because of how sheer it can look on me sometimes. Again, theres something with the Estée Lauder lipsticks that just smell so nice. If pink is more your colour and your into this shiny/ shimmery look I would definitely give it a try.
Final Rating: B+

Finally, my last lipstick to review. I would describe this as a glossy candy red. I don’t know the brand (sorry), but I found it when I went traveling to Japan at a store I found in a bigger department store. If anyone recognizes the brand please let me know! Its definitely not as pigmented as my other lipsticks, but I think the colour is the most unique. Very glossy and almost more like a lip stain.
Final Rating: B+

Congrats! Thanks for making it to the end of my blog (if you read everything or just scrolled to the bottom to see how long it would be). Reminder, these personal scores are just how I’ve found these lipsticks to be over the years I’ve had them so there was no formal mark associated to these grades. I hope you found something interesting on your time on my blog. Thanks for reading ❤
